Sophine + Caspar's Sun Valley Winter Wedding
Sophine and Caspar fell in love vacationing in Sun Valley and wanted to share their beloved Idaho experience with their dearest friends and family. Caspar spent many winters with his family in Sun Valley and sharing this place with their Australian guests was a must for them! Planning from "down under", okay, maybe way too cliche there, Sophine reached out to us to help her bring her vision to life. It was quite the fete! the best part was how much it snowed, come the wedding day! We went from bare ground to almost two feet! It was a winter wonderland! I love having the Father of the Bride present the bridal bouquet to the bride - it's such a special moment. We had Alexis' Dad and Step Dad, have a private moment seeing Alexis in her gown for the first time - the "First Look" with Dad.
For all of our clients, we create a Plan A as well as a contingency plan in case of bad weather. We saw the dark clouds coming as the day progressed closer to the ceremony hour. The Bride was adamant about wanting the ceremony outside on the beautiful beach. We hustled and made it happen and just in time! It started raining immediately after the recessional. Because of planning, we were able to have guests on the side of the room indoors and out of the rain. Our crew had to hustle and pull all the chairs and church pews out of the rain to prevent them from getting water damage - another reason to hire a planner and team!

Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine's Regional Debut
You know when something so meaningful happens to you that you actually don't want to share it with the world just yet, instead you want to hold onto it for a little while longer in your own quiet and safe space and take it all in? That's how I have been feeling about the debut of Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine's regional launch featuring the big editorial I designed for them back in October. It's been a journey getting to this place and I never want to lose site of my gratitude or faith in what my dream and goal of Ira and Lucy is. I've been experiencing a ton of emotions leading up to this week and finally holding the magazine in my hands and seeing my work on actual magazine pages, it's surreal! Thank you Rocky Mountain Magazine for this incredible opportunity. Every single page is beautiful and it's an honor being party of such a gorgeous collection!
