Q. “Do I have to rent a minimum dollar amount?”

A: NOPE! We work with all sorts of budgets and occasions. So, if it's only one wine barrel you need, no problem!

Megan expressed a desire to feature a collection of meaningful vintage heirlooms and details she and her mother had carefully been collecting in anticipation for this very special day. It was so important to her that we also infuse the design elements as a nod to Kaleo's Hawaiian background.

I want to start off by saying that I was always the girl who NEVER needed a wedding coordinator. I knew “exactly” what I wanted my wedding to look like, and I’ve always been a natural planner, so why would I need someone’s help? Once upon a time I even dreamed of being a wedding planner myself, so I felt like planning my own wedding would be a piece of cake. A few weeks in to the planning stage and my head was spinning while trying to find 300 of the perfect chairs, a task that I thought would be so simple. Turns out, planning your own wedding isn’t easy. Pinning gorgeous photos to your “Fairytale” pinterest board may be a dreamy no-brainer, but it doesn’t work that way in real life. It’s a lot harder than one might think to pull together a luxurious seating lounge or take 50 of your carefully thrifted bowls and vases and turn them into collaborative centerpieces. And lets not even get started on the not so obvious details- linens for breadbaskets, reserved seating signs, extension cords??? There is more that goes into planning a wedding than I ever could have imagined. I first contacted Heidi because my mom wanted to hire someone who could take the stress off of the wedding day set-up and tear-down. But after hearing about what she could offer in the coordination department and after seeing the beautiful work on her site, I could not help myself but get lost in the idea of having someone rescue me from my never ending planning challenges. Right from the moment that I met Heidi and her assistant Molly, I felt like 300 pounds were lifted from my shoulders. They knew exactly what needed to be done to make my dream day come true and they were just as excited about it as I was. They gave me a strict to-do list and a firm deadline to make decisions while they got busy calling vendors and pulling together the seriously impossible. They put together a vision board that was absolutely perfect for me and finally I was able to start enjoying the whole process. It wasn’t long after that when I told my mom the best thing I had spent my money on so far was my wedding planners. They worked like crazy making sure that I could have everything that I envisioned for my day.
Not only did they make the planning process so much easier- they made it so that I could spend my wedding day focusing on all of the important parts. The night before my wedding I was able to go home and relax and get my rest. The morning of my wedding I was able to spend the day with my bridesmaids and my mom at the salon getting our hair, makeup, and nails done. I didn’t have to worry about a thing but just showing up and looking pretty. I knew without a doubt that their team would have everything under control and that everything would get done just how I wanted it and in plenty of time for my walk down the aisle. I didn’t stress. My family didn’t stress. Everyone was able to enjoy the day just as they should have. I look back at my dream of becoming a wedding planner and I can’t imagine ever thinking that it was something that I could do. It takes a special kind of person to not only be able to work that hard, but to want it so much for someone else. Heidi is that person. That is what her team stands for and I couldn’t be more grateful that I chose them to help me with my wedding.

A Barn With History Filled With Love

Not only did we just adore planning and designing Brie + Kasey's wedding, but we now consider these two as family friends. I love that these images show just how much these two adore one another. We designed around the handmade bridesmaids gowns, layered the purple tones and accented the special aspects of the design with vintage elements perfect for a countryside barn wedding in the beautiful Palouse Hills. We didn't let the thick smoke from the wildfires take away from the day! In fact, it made it even more gorgeous the way the sun filtered in.

Brie surprised Kasey with an out-of-this-world first look! A helicopter brought Kasey to the top of a hill and Brie walked up the hill to meet him. It was incredible! We had to make a quick last minute change since the smoke was too thick and the day-of wasn't going to be able to be the evening surprise for their grand exit. The smoke was just too dangerous, so on the fly (literally) we made the change!

Kayla + Kirby married at one of Idaho's most romantic venues, Still Water Hollow. For the couple loving our gorgeous golden sunsets, with the smell of sweet mint drifting in that warm summer breeze, Still Water Hollow is your dream venue. Kayla envisioned a day filled with joy and love as she and Kirby were surrounded by their closest friends and family as they shared their love and commitment to one another. The couple featured their favorite Boise foods featuring a brunch themed dinner from Big City Coffee, a Ben + Jerry's Ice Cream cart, and delicious cake from local pastry chef, Amaru. Floral Designer, Matt from Edwards Nursery created effortless boho inspired floral design for Kayla's vision with this crazy gorgeous bouquet!

Heidi was such a blessing from day one. I had a referral to her from another business and boy was I fortunate enough to get that! She met me immediately at a site visit and then we sat down afterwards to talk about all the details of my year away wedding. My mom and I were blown away at the organization, details, and tips she had for us that truly stuck until the wedding day. She immediately put us at ease and we were totally sold on the idea of a wedding planner and designer. She kept in communication and was always reassuring me that we could do it. I always envisioned my mom helping ME get ready, not the wedding and Heidi and her team did just that! They took all my decor and put magic into it. They knew where to stage it to best accommodate my guests, to photograph well, and to be appreciated. Molly was my coordinator and boy that girl knows how to work! She had the whole timeline done quickly and efficiently with all my vendors. It helped me relax knowing someone else knows all the details and plans besides me. This allowed me to get ready and truly enjoy my wedding day with family and friends instead of putting the wedding together. She knew all the timing and kept us on a schedule that couldn’t have been more comfortable. We truly enjoyed working with Ira and Lucy. It was the best decision of our whole wedding. If you do one thing for yourselves in this whole planning process, hire them! We hope to have another event where we have the excuse to use Ira and Lucy again! XOXO
