We kicked off our 2025 wedding season with Cait and Kevin’s unforgettable celebration at Hotel Renegade in downtown Boise. Their January wedding was the perfect way to set the tone for the year, full of elegance, personality, and a bold design we loved bringing to life.
From the start, Cait envisioned a wedding that felt like an Old Hollywood soirée—sophisticated, glamorous, and timeless. The sleek architecture and moody interiors of Hotel Renegade set the perfect stage. Every detail, from the rich textures in the florals to the dramatic candlelight and statement décor, came together to create an evening brimming with atmosphere.
We’re thrilled that Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine thought so too. This stunning day is currently featured in their Idaho Issue (available now on stands), and it’s such an honor to see Cait and Kevin’s wedding celebrated in print.
Their wedding was more than just beautiful design. It was a reflection of their love and their story. Watching them surrounded by their family and friends, soaking up every moment of joy, was the highlight of our winter season.
Getting Ready
Hotel Renegade, Penthouse
Cait spent the morning in the Penthouse Suite at Hotel Renegade, which offered the most beautiful natural light and plenty of space for her bridesmaids and mother to get ready by her side. The suite provided a relaxed, elegant setting where the beauty team could work comfortably while everyone enjoyed the excitement of the morning. It was the perfect backdrop for those intimate, joy-filled getting-ready moments.
Room Reveal
One of our favorite moments on Cait and Kevin’s wedding day was their room reveal at Hotel Renegade. Before guests arrived and the celebration officially began, we carved out a few quiet minutes for them to step into the space together and take in every detail. The room reveal is such a meaningful tradition we love to offer our couples. It gives them a chance to see the vision fully realized—the florals arranged, candles glowing, tables set just for them—before anyone else steps inside.
These few moments are often filled with emotion, as couples see all the thought, care, and personal touches that have been woven into their day. It’s a reminder that the celebration isn’t just for their guests, but truly about their love story. Watching Cait and Kevin walk hand-in-hand into their reception space, taking in the magic of the design we created together, was one of the highlights of the entire day.
The Design
Cait wanted her wedding design to capture the essence of Old Hollywood glamour, but in a way that felt modern, fresh, and uniquely hers. Together, we curated an atmosphere that nodded to the sophistication of the era without leaning into anything overly literal. Instead of obvious vintage motifs, we focused on texture, lighting, and intentional details to tell the story.
The reception tables glowed under soft lamplight and rows of flickering candles, creating an intimate and cinematic feel. Black accents added depth and contrast against layers of ivory and cream, while bold florals—including sculptural anthuriums and rich, dark tones—brought just the right amount of drama. The cake, with its ornate piping and playful cherries, was a showpiece that tied into the theme with a subtle wink.
The result was a celebration that felt timeless and chic, a blend of classic glamour and modern edge. It was everything Cait envisioned: elegant, elevated, and memorable without ever being overdone.

Ceremony - Arriving in Style
To complete the sense of timeless glamour, Cait and Kevin arrived in style. A vintage Rolls Royce transported the bride and groom to and from the church, adding a touch of elegance and romance to the day. The classic car was not only a stunning detail but also created such a memorable experience for the couple, perfectly tying into the refined Old Hollywood feel of their celebration.
Arrival & Cocktail Hour
While guests enjoyed cocktail hour, we carved out intentional time for Cait and Kevin to step away together for portraits before the reception began. This quiet window not only allowed their photographer to capture some of the most intimate images of the day, but it also gave the couple a chance to slow down and soak in the joy of being newly married before joining the celebration. Creating space for these moments is something we always prioritize, so our couples can be fully present for both the portraits and the party.
Dress Change
For the reception, Cait surprised guests with a second dress look that perfectly captured her playful side. She changed into a chic, shorter gown that was fun, flirty, and made for the dance floor. The switch from her classic ceremony gown to this modern party dress brought such great energy to the evening and let her fully enjoy the celebration with Kevin and their guests. It was the perfect complement to the glamorous design of the day—elevated, yet effortlessly fun.
Cait’s incredible sense of style was evident throughout the entire wedding day, from her elegant gown to her playful second look. It comes as no surprise that she has recently launched her own business, Vera Persona, offering personalized styling services. Her eye for fashion and thoughtful approach to curating looks made such an impact on her wedding, and now she’s bringing that same expertise to help others feel confident and beautifully styled.
